With GUARD Archaeology, we introduced a new Data Server that provides secure storage and allows remote working. Meaning their storage was rock solid and fast, their backups were just a click away and staff could work from anywhere, with access to all the live files on the network!

In addition, we installed a brand new network including cabling and switch.

Finally, we migrated them to a Hosted Exchange, giving them an upgraded email environment.

…and for additional peace of mind, ongoing support would be provided for the system to make sure it’s always working at peak performance!

The Outcome

GUARD have a server with a safe and secure device to store all of their crucial data.

Migrating them to the new email system allows them to have their emails synced and up to date, on ANY of their devices, meaning they can work remotely either from home or in the field.

Our ongoing support allows us to catch any problems before they develop into bigger issues and allows their users to have regular access to a fully trained and qualified IT engineer.

It Didn’t Stop There!

With everything running smoothly with the IT system we shifted our attention to setting up a SIP phone system.

The “Who Cares” Part

SIP, or Session Initiation Protocol, or VoIP, or Voice over IP… you get the idea: is a phone system set up through an internet provider, rather than a traditional phone line.

We replaced GUARDS old BT landline and moved to operate everything through their broadband line, with features including:

• IVR (Voice Response) menu for incoming calls
• Forwarding calls to mobiles
• Easy to up as they grow or downscale if necessary
• Extremely small set up time
